Katerina Tsaligopoulou

Katerina was born and raised in Athens with various short and long breaks, up to three years, in Rome, Munich and Perestroika Moscow. After he became an adult, he continued to travel to the countries mainly of the European continent. Art called to her but she couldn't handle it. Only clay was able to hold her, and become the escape valve of her creativity, with which she has been professionally engaged since 1996.

From 2001 to 2003 he did the master's degree in Museology at the Reindwardt Academie, part of the Amsterdam School of Fine Arts. He specialized in Football Team Museums and returned to Piraeus to design, create and manage the Olympiakos Museum. At the end of 2018, the call of art was now too strong for him to ignore and continue working at the Museum. Meanwhile she worked in her workshop and taught the art of clay to her friends' children. Self-taught until 2016, where he studied at Todi, alongside the internationally renowned Italian ceramist Nino Caruso.

Since the end of 2019, she has been creating and doing clay, painting and art classes for children and adults with or without mental retardation at Blue Zebra, her workshop in Kifissia.
