Papaloukas Spyros

Papaloukas started his painting studies very early with his compatriot hagiographer Papakonstantinou, continued at the Polytechnic and completed them in various free schools in Paris.

He was interested in hagiography but also in secular subjects of all categories, but it seems that he was influenced by the study of Byzantine art on Mount Athos.

His painting is distinguished for the personal use of types of post-impressionist currents and especially Cezanne.
