Rammos Konstantinos

Konstantinos Rammos was born in Larissa in 1955. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, in the workshop of Dim. Kokkinidis and scenography in the workshop of Vassilis Vassiliadis.

During his studies he was a scholarship holder of SSF and was awarded with a commendation for semi-nude painting and a composition award. He has participated in various group exhibitions, such as at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, the French Institute of Athens, etc. In 1982 he received a scholarship from the French government to pursue theoretical studies in art history in Paris, at Arts Plastiques Paris I, in Sorbonne. Upon his return from Paris, in 1984 he made his third personal exhibition in Athens and since then he has presented his work in 25 personal and in about 200 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. His work has been presented by the media, both in newspapers and magazines as well as on radio and television shows. His works are displayed in the Greek Parliament, in Greek banks and in many private collections in Greece and abroad. He lives and works in Athens.
