Papamichalopoulos Konstantine

Born 1975 in Athens, Greece.
Studied painting and printmaking in the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 2014 he graduated from the Digital Art Forms postgraduate program (ASFA).
In 2021 he received his doctorate degree from the Panteion University in Athens.
He is publishing comics and zines since 2000.
His more recent solo shows: "The Great Golden Room" at the Bath of the Winds of the Museum of Greek Folk Art (2015), ”Talos - Depictions of the Artificial Man" at the café of the National Archaeological Museum in Athens(2016), “My Power Lies with the Love of the People” at the Vorres Museum (2017), “Zeus and Athena” at the Archaeological Museum of Tinos (2019) and his most recent show, “Salamis 2020”, hosted at the Numismatic Museum of Athens (2020-2021), a visual dialogue with the artifacts from the collections of the Numismatic Museum regarding the Battle of Salamis in 480 BCE. His next solo show, “Paliggenesia 2021”, is slated for early Fall 2021 at the Athens City Museum.
He is the cover artist of the Athens Review of Books and a freelance illustrator at the Dutch weekly De Groene Amsterdammer.

Since October 2021 he is teaching painting and printmaking at the School of Fine Arts Department of the University of Ioannina.
His works belong in public and private collections in Greece and abroad.
