Vera Kallianidi was born in Athens in 1976.

In 1995, she was admitted to the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Munich. After being awarded the title Meisterschülerin in 2000, she was granted an Erasmus scholarship and studied at the Beaux Arts in Bordeaux. Some of her works were purchased by Hypo-Vereinsbank for the Junge Künstler europäischer Akademien collection. In 2002 she completed her studies in Munich and returned to Athens. She has taken part in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad as well. In addition, she has worked for three years in public schools and in the Hellenic Children’s Museum where she also attended the program “Education in Museums”. In 2014 she became member of the Forum d’Athenes, de I’Ecole Psychanalyse des Forums du Champ lacanien. Since 2016 she lives in Paris and in Athens and studies philosophy in the university of Sorbonne.
