Georgiou Christos

Christos Georgiou was born in 1943 in Schimatari. In 1968 he graduated from the Doxiadis School with their teachers: G. Tsarouchis, A. Asteriadis, V. Katraki, D. Mytara, D. Dekoulako, P. Zoumboulaki.
From 1969 to 1976 he was in Paris at the Ecole des Beax-Arts. In the sculpture workshop he has teachers Etienne Martin, Cesar, Collomarini and in their engraving workshop Dayese, Legranche.
He did postgraduate studies with a scholarship from the French Government. In 1974 he received the First Prize of sculpture scholarships of the French State.
He is a founding member of the Sculpture Association of Greece.
