Devetzis Andreas

Andreas Devetzis was born in Athens in 1954. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in the department of Painting with professor Giannis Moralis and Scenography with professor Vassilis Vassiliadis. He graduated in 1978 and with a scholarship from the School of Fine Arts went to Paris, where he studied painting at the Ecole Superieure Nationale des Beaux Arts and Art History at the University of Paris X.
He lives and works in Athens as a painter, set designer, teacher of drawing and painting. He has also worked as an interior decorator and has curated business showrooms. He has created covers of poetry collections and has illustrated various publications. From time to time he has taught as a teacher of Drawing and Painting. He has also dealt with engraving. His works are in private collections in Greece as well as abroad (France, USA, Germany, Holland, Australia) and in museums.
